Michael P. Johnson, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Creighton School of Medicine and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Texas Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. He is a Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado, and has been practicing at Red Rocks Ob-Gyn since 1998. His clinical interests include surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and Da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery. He is married and has three children. He enjoys golf, skiing, gardening, and his children's many activities.
Jennifer O. Grube, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Grube attended The Ohio State University School of Medicine, graduating with honors, and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where she served as chief resident. She has been practicing at Red Rocks Ob-Gyn since 2002. She brings to Red Rocks OBGYN expertise diagnosing, treating and educating patients on all facets of women’s health and wellness. She specializes in all aspects of obstetrical care including both low and high risk obstetrics, and especially enjoys working with pregnant athletes. Her gynecologic interests include minimally invasive surgeries such as robotic assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy and hysteroscopic removal of uterine fibroids and polyps, as well as endometrial ablation for heavy vaginal bleeding. She especially enjoys working with patients to optimize their health with particular interests in incorporating diet, exercise habits, and complementary therapies into her treatment recommendations. She has served as Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at both Lutheran Medical Center and St. Anthony’s Hospital, and was voted a “5280 Top Doctor” in 2018. In her free time she enjoys running, skiing, tennis, travel, and spending time with her husband and 2 children.
Gwang-Yi Hwang, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Hwang is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She also completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where she served as chief resident. She has been practicing at Red Rocks OB/GYN since 2009. Her clinical interests are minimal invasive surgery (with emphasis on robotic-assisted laparoscopy) including hysterectomy and pelvic organ prolapse repair. She has a passion for educating and guiding patients to have a thorough understanding of their health issues. She has served as Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Anthony Hospital since 2013. She speaks medical Spanish and conversational Mandarin Chinese. Dr. Hwang is married and has two sons. She enjoys travel, snowboarding, scuba diving, mixology and craft beers, and considers herself a foodie.
Kelle S. Oberle, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Kelle Oberle is a Colorado native and has been practicing at Red Rocks OB-GYN since 2011. She graduated from Columbia University for her undergraduate degree and The State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine, where she was president of the medical student council in her final year. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado. Her clinical interests are minimally invasive surgery including robotic hysterectomy and hysteroscopic procedures, infertility, the menopausal transition and compassionate obstetric care for mothers and their babies. She has volunteered in medical missions to Africa, India, The Dominican Republic and Ecuador and speaks Spanish. Dr. Oberle is happily married and has two daughters and a quirky beagle named Milo. She enjoys travel, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, music and fine food.
Katherine Humphrey, N.P.
Katherine attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center for her Bachelors of Nursing degree and attended UCLA in 1990 for her Women Health Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2000 she completed her Master's degree as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. She is married and has two daughters. She lived and practiced in rural Colorado until 2002. She has been practicing at Red Rocks OB/Gyn since 2007. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Glenna Kersten, N.P.
Glenna completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Utica College of Syracuse University in New York. She obtained a Masters Degree in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati. She has been practicing at Red Rocks since 2012. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and her two children.
Sylvia DeLay, N.P.
Sylvia is a Colorado native and completed both her Bachelor and Master degrees in Nursing at University of Colorado. She is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and is passionate about family planning and obstetrics care. She also has a Bachelor degree in human biology and health policy from Stanford University. Sylvia has been practicing at Red Rocks since 2014. She enjoys running, skiing and exploring the mountains with her husband and daughter.
Jamie Smith, N.P.
Jamie received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Nursing at University of Nevada. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009. Jamie lives and practiced in Las Vegas, Nevada as an Orthopedic Spine Nurse Practitioner. In 2016, she entered the field of Women's Health. She joined Red Rocks in 2017. Clinically, she is interested in family planning and obstetrical care. She is married with two children. She loves to travel and spend time with family.
The current practice was originally founded by Drs. Harvey Cohen, M.D. and Wayne Conner, M.D. in 1964.
